Flax seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which have been shown in studies to fight fat because they slow down digestion, which helps you feel fuller longer. On top of that, some believe flax seeds attract fat-soluble toxins and flush them out of the body's system.

Try sprinkling flax seeds over salads and bread, or use flax seed oil in dressing and sauces.
