Warm weather's around the corner, and with that, the thought of soaking up the vitamin D with a cold, creamy treat in hand. (Can't you just hear the ice cream man's jingle?) Haagen-Dazs is taking the idea of "eating your veggies" to a whole new level with a line of quirky veggie ice cream flavors, including tomato-cherry and carrot-orange. They'll contain about half the milk fat (8.5%) as their traditional ice cream flavors, so you could say it's marginally healthier?? Sadly for you adventurous eaters, they're not out till May -- and only in Japan.

In other cool-treat news, TCBY will launch a new coconutmilk fro-yo this Thursday at locations nationwide. It's a flavor anyone -- even those with dietary restrictions -- can enjoy because it's vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free. (And a four-ounce serving of the Silk Coconutmilk fro-yo has just 110 calories, 1.5 grams of fat, and five grams of fiber!) This is the third dairy-free creation to come out of TCBY's partnership with Silk, including Silk Chocolate Almond and Silk Vanilla Almond. We personally recommend swirling the Silk Chocolate Almond flavor with the Silk Coconutmilk flavor for a chocolate-covered-coconut experience!
