The use of hand sanitizer is soaring ..... but did you know there can be a big difference between products?

When you search store shelves looking for an alcohol based hand sanitizer, there's one important number to watch out for according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)..... and it's probably not the one you think.

Don't be drawn in by a label promising to kill 99.9% of germs. Turn that bottle over and check out the alcohol concentration. Make sure it's 60% or greater. Some products only contain 40%.
