When you get sad and weepy, how does your guy react? Does he try to cheer you up? Make a joke? Give you a back rub? Act really concerned? Hopefully, all of the above. But guess what is really going on inside his body--you'll never believe what women's tears do to a guy!
Your man's biological response to your crying? Well, apparently it zaps his sex drive.
This is all according to researchers in Tel Aviv, who studied what happens inside men's bodies when faced with a crying woman. Turns out, your tears reduce his testosterone levels and decrease his sexual arousal.
The researchers found this to be the case after studying the biological responses to male study participants who were asked to sniff the tears of women who had just watched sad movies.
And now you know what your crying does to him! Who knew?
