Last night, NBC finally let us in on the secret the two new mystery trainers for Biggest Loser. For more than a month they've been hidden silhouettes and sneaky camera angles, but then last night the faces of Cara Castronuova and Brett Hoebelwere revealed. They both seem to be good fits for the show, if not a breath of fresh fitness air to shake up a show in its eleventh season.

With Jillian Michaels leaving Biggest Loser at the end of this season, it was no doubt the perfect time to add new experts to the ranks.

So who are they?

Cara Castronuova is a certified personal trainer with a passion for boxing. She began to box at the age of five with her father, a former Marine. Castronuova grew up in Elmont, New York with three younger brothers. She wrestled throughout high school and college, and gradated with a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Hofstra University. She won her first boxing match in 2002, at the NY Empire State Games in Syracuse. She went on to place in national tournaments and win numerous titles, such as the NYABC title, the Metros, and the Empire State Games. Most notably, Cara is a two-time Golden Gloves winner and was once ranked as the number two boxer in the nation by USA Boxing. She's worked as a personal trainer in the New York area and also volunteered for a government-funded program that teaches troubled youth the benefits of boxing. She has also done stunt work for film and has served as a stunt coordinator. "Boxing competitively taught me how important it is to never give up, no matter how hard it gets," she says.

Brett Hoebel has an impressive fitness resume as well. He's the creator of RevAbs, a popular workout DVD program from Beachbody Brands, the makers of P90X. He was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, and has two older sisters. Hoebel describes himself as "the fat kid who didn't know he was fat," as he was 50 pounds overweight during his teens. He had a life-changing summer between his freshman and sophomore years of high school, attending summer camps for football, wrestling and lacrosse, and was able to shed the excess weight. "These struggles have shaped who I am and are why I ended up in this career," says Hoebel. "They also have helped me better relate to the contestants, and build their trust and respect because they know I went through it and came out on top on the other side." Hoebel was a pre-med student at Claremont McKenna College, and graduated with a bachelor of science degree with a dual major in psychology and biology. He later furthered his education by taking graduate courses in biomedical science at Rutgers University. Hoebel has a diverse yet thorough fitness background that includes certifications for Hatha Yoga instruction, Kettle Bell interaction, Corrective Holistic Exercise Kenesiology, Olympic Lifting, and prenatal and postpartum conditioning. All of this in addition to his passions for martial arts capoeira and Muay Thai.
