New Balance Lace Up for the Cure Collection

New Balance Lace Up for the Cure Collection

New Balance has made a name for itself nationally with its wide array of athletic running shoes and clothing gear. But this year, the Boston-based company is making great strides in the fight against breast cancer.

Continuing throughout the end of the year, New Balance will contribute five percent of the suggested retail price of sales from the Lace Up for The Cure Collection offering a guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The pink women's collection, which includes pants, shorts, skirts, jackets and sneakers, was specifically designed for the fitness lover wishing to support a great cause. We love the lightness and flexibility of the women's WW860 shoe pictured above). The pink, gray and white sneaker (which also serves as the official shoe for the three-day walk for the cure). It retails for $89.99, comes with the signature breast cancer supporter ribbon and feels like a running shoe but offers the unique support and comfort of a walking shoe, offering additional cushioning for an extended workout.

When it comes to men's running shoes, we love the MR905 (above) for its lightweight feel and stable design. The comfortable features are combined with a Transitional Support System to provide mild to moderate overpronators a shoe with stability that won't slow them down. All of the New Balance shoes come in a wide variety of widths and sizes so you can choose the shoe that fits your feet perfectly.

New Balance started out as a Boston-based arch support company in the early 1900s and has grown substantially over the years, developing a reputation as a specialized shoe manufacturer by the 1970s. Since then, it has grown to become one of the largest global athletic products company and maintains five manufacturing facilities in New England. To see more, visit NewBalance.com/Komen.
