Our targets are for Global standards but why our crude Vegetable oil Industry is unattended to reach its goal for manufacturing healthy raw edible oils for human consumption.

It is very depressing that the Indian Oil industry is still in production or crushing the oil seeds by out of date machines under the most un hygenic conditions, though the governance has a Agriculture Directorate of Marketing Adviser to the Govt.Of India, with big staff as SMO , and Marketing Officer and Inspectors for visiting the Oil Mills and keeping control of the chemists and the working of laboratories, etc. But have they ever reported the conditions inside the mills how dirty or clean is the environment prevailing in the units, such oils falling on the flooring along with the mineral oils as lubricants from the shaft and the motors etc combining with the spilled oil and by the carelessness or deliberately just to cut the losses etc In an average oil mills of production about 200 Tons per day a good amount of mineral oils is too spills if not collected eperately. Therefore is may be in good amount of an mixed or adulterated oil if not kept seperately and soled as non edible oil. Previously such oils have been separately sold and the record kept. But the il is very costly there are very high chances of it being mixed as such. But as such the manufacturing premises could not be kept as clean.as is allowed as per rules for any food industry, naturally the oil remains contaminated by the bacteria and fungus too even after filtration. That is why in the Global units the refined oils are allowed to for human consumption., and in India generally it is used as raw oil in the containers even in AGMARK quality. The need is now that the bacteria and virus test may also be allowed to be performed on the final and finished oil.
