"It's always a challenge to find the exact same location
and position for the camera, otherwise the perspective won't fit," Zoltan told Yahoo! Shine. The woman on the left is from 2013, and the woman on the right sat in that spot back in 1978.

Kerényi Zoltán's photos are a haunting marriage of past and present. In them, modern-day snapshots serve as the background for vintage photos taken in the exact same location decades earlier. "I was always interested in the old black and white photos, especially those that show my city, Budapest," the 36-year-old architect and photographer told Yahoo! Shine in an interview. He's created dozens of eerie images since he launched "Ablack a Multra/Window to the Past" in February 2011, and plans to make many more. "I think everyone experiences that occasional desire to look back at a bygone age, and to catch a glimpse of something that touches their heart and moves their soul, or throws fresh light on the changes around us." -- By Lylah M.
