A Spoonful of Honey Keeps the Extra Pounds Away

By Ava Feuer, REDBOOK.

We know about the sneaky ways sugar worms its way into our diets, and that artificial sweeteners should be avoided at all costs, but an upcoming book takes this all a step further. The Honey Diet claims that by substituting honey for any other sugars consumed throughout the day--meaning cooking with it, sweetening your coffee with it, and indulging only in treats made with it--and eating a spoonful of the naturally-sweet stuff before bed each night, you can drop up to three pounds a week.
