Study Shows That Binge Drinkers Are More Likely to Exercise

Boozers tend to exercise much more than other people, according to a new government health study-and no, we're not talking about the Triceps Beer Stein Hoist or the Fifty Yard Stagger. Even more surprisingly, the more people drink, the more they jog, pump iron, row or otherwise exert themselves. Moderate drinkers work out more than teetotalers, and heavy drinkers exercise the most of all. (If that wasn't enough to make a toast to-while on the Stairmaster, of course-a British study indicates that champagne may lower "bad" cholesterol.)

Researchers said they weren't sure why an activity like heavy drinking that's usually considered unhealthy strongly corresponds with one that's good for you. Or do both activities satisfy thrill seekers? (Pass the endorphin margarita, please!)
