You may soon know how many calories are in the food you order at a restaurant. The nation's biggest chains say they're ready to show you the numbers. FatFighterTV has a look at this story and other diet and fitness headlines making news this week.

Restaurant chains could soon reveal calories
Counting calories may soon become easier to do at restaurants. Chains have now agreed to support legislation that would require them to post calories on their menus. Restaurants with 20 or more locations would have to list the number of calories in each item. And if someone asks, they would also have to show them other nutritional information like the amount of sugar, salt or cholesterol in the food. Congress is expected to discuss the menu labeling law during the next few weeks.

Lack of sleep can make you fat
Not getting enough sleep can make you more than tired and cranky. New research shows lack of Zzz's can lead to weight gain or make you have more total body fat. Other research has shown similar problems when children don't get enough sleep.

Could weight loss surgeries mean more broken bones?

If you have weight loss surgery, your bones may be in trouble. A new, small study finds bariatric surgery may nearly double the risk of broken bones. Researchers from the Mayo Clinic found one in five patients fractured a bone within an average of seven years after the surgery. Most breaks were in the hands and feet.
