Monthly Career

You might be more concerned with the color of your new living room curtains (how could your partner have chosen such a hideous purple color, and on non-returnable curtains, to boot?) than you are with your role at the office on the 1st and 2nd. But before you tell everyone at the water cooler about that strange color 'somewhere between an eggplant and a grape juice pop,' again, you might want to check in and make sure your boss isn't trying to get ahold of you for an emergency meeting. (And don't worry: You'll learn to love that funny purple tone.) Do something wonderful for yourself during your extra-long lunch break on the 5th or 6th. You need a little TLC if you're going to really perform well at work! Different ideas really stimulate your old brain pathways, so expose yourself to as many ideas as possible on the 9th and 10th. You need to slow down, completely (if possible) on the 13th, 14th and 15th. That's right: Shift every deadline you can possibly shift and spend some quality time navel gazing (and working out and getting extra sleep). You're in a pretty amazing place on the 21st and 22nd. Your ideas are awesome and your energy is even better. Be sure to share all those little details with your partners on the 26th. It will pay off. Emotional intensity can be channeled into some pretty awesome work product on the 30th.

DAILY MOMSCOPE

It's best to focus on intellect instead of emotion today. You may be able to fend off the little one's big temper tantrum if you respond in a reasonable, rational manner. Either way, it can't hurt to try.

DAILY OVERVIEW

You and your partner (romantic or otherwise) are at odds with each other today over something that seems silly at first glance but turns into a big deal the more you look at it. Try to see both sides.

DAILY FOODSCOPE

Your brain is feeling a tad sluggish, so go out of your way to give your grey matter a pick-me-up. The Omega-3s found in fish like salmon and tuna can stimulate your neural synapses and you might even remember where you put your car keys. If you're a vegetarian, add flax or hemp seed to your diet for a similar lift.

DAILY BEAUTYSCOPE

A friend wants you to be honest about her new look. Frankly, you think it might be a mistake. But instead of being blunt, ask her how she feels about it. Then you can have a real, productive discussion.
