Monthly Overview

Your month is starting off with a great big bang! Yep, on the 1st, it's kind of like someone decided to throw you a great big surprise party. Bang! There are presents, there are friends, there are big surprises that are oh-so-positive. There are bells, whistles and fireworks! Bang! Have a blast right now. You definitely want to do a thorough job researching whatever it is you're researching on the 6th, 7th and 8th -- from dog toys to reasons it's been hard to let go of certain romantic attachments. After all, a superficial understanding of the situation is going to be anything but enlightening. If you are totally, totally, totally set on getting something, the high-energy 9th and 10th are likely to be days when you can be almost sure you're going to get it! Woo-hoo! Don't get tricked by something super-shiny that isn't, in the end, the real thing on the 15th and 16th. After all, what you want is real gold. Don't quit 'til you find it. Your friends are a fantastic resource, and never more so than on the 22nd and 23rd. Ask someone you trust what they think of a situation, and you'll be pleased with what they have to say on the fabulous 27th and 28th. Save on the 31st.

DAILY MOMSCOPE

You just might just fly off the handle if you're not careful. It's easy to get caught up in all that's going on, what with day care and work and shopping. But if you take time to breathe, and then act, you'll do just fine.

DAILY OVERVIEW

Try not to get involved with any complicated financial shenanigans today -- your energy is better spent on simple projects, preferably not involving money. Your ambitions can grow another day.

DAILY FOODSCOPE

Don't believe what other people say about a certain highly regarded eatery. Sometimes four stars is three too many, and your money would be better spent on a good banh mi and a boba green tea from the Vietnamese sandwich shop around the corner.

DAILY BEAUTYSCOPE

Giving advice is about tuning in to your gut to temper the response. Someone wants your opinion on her new hairstyle. Use your common sense and listen to your intuition: Does it seem like she wants the whole truth and nothing but, or does she merely want reassurance?
