Monthly Overview

Get outside and take off your shoes and socks and dig your toes into the dirt on the 1st. Then wiggle them! If you live someplace where there is a layer of snow and ice between you and good old Mother Earth, then wiggle your toes around on a carpet in your living room. The main thing, for you, right now, is to get grounded! Feel your feet! Feel them rooting you in the here and now! Embrace the moment, don't live in the past, don't dwell on the future. Now, wiggle those toes, again! Yay! Your friends are your secret weapon, so activate them on the 5th and 6th. Tell them your problems and watch them obliterate them! You're in for some pretty serious, ultra-intense, oh-yes romance on the 9th, 10th and 11th! Put on your fuzziest, funniest sweater. If you decide to engage in a power struggle on the 17th or 18th, make sure you know what the stakes are, and why you actually care (do you actually care?). Don't be greedy, lazy or indolent on the 22nd or 23rd. Instead, go to a museum or watch a play! Do your best to understand where they're coming from on the 30th and 31st. If you can, their behavior won't seem nearly as weird.

DAILY MOMSCOPE

Be open to innovation today, when you might be called upon to master some new technology or work procedure. Ignore the fact that it's presented to you by someone with an eccentric approach or hairstyle. As long as you get it.

DAILY OVERVIEW

You are feeling a bit conservative today -- if not politically, than temperamentally. You want to hang on to the status quo as much as you can and see if you can get others to do the same.

DAILY FOODSCOPE

Dining out with vegan friends can be challenging for an omnivore -- keep that in mind no matter which side of the line you fall. Veggies burgers are quite tasty, especially if certain parties don't freak out about using a little Parmesan cheese to enhance the flavor.

DAILY BEAUTYSCOPE

You love your teenage cousin, but do you want to shop at the same places? Accessories and other small items from those kinds of stores are okay, but look for wardrobe essentials at higher-end boutiques and retail sources.
