Make lunchtime a fiesta!
Make lunchtime a fiesta!

Every time we have quesadillas at home, they must include ham and cheese. This time I decided to give them an extra touch, adding green apples and cream cheese. It's fun to make variations on the basic quesadillas we always enjoy. If you have some leftover ham from the holidays, this is a great way to use it.

Ingredients

4 flour tortillas
1 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese
4 tablespoons of whipped cream cheese
1 green apple cut into thin slices
8 big slices of ham (approx.)

Directions

1. Place one tortilla on a heated pan. Let it warm-up a little bit on both sides.

2. Add the shredded cheese (1/4 of the total amount), 2 slices of ham, 1 tablespoon of cream cheese and some apple slices to half of it. Fold the tortilla and warm both sides on medium heat for about 2 minutes each.

3. Take out of the pan and cut in two, if desired. Enjoy!
