There's no denying Latinos love to dance. So, whether it's a Zumba routine, Brazilian exercises or even ballroom steps, resolve to make dance your exercise of choice this year. Chances are you'll have fun as you see the pounds drop. Can't drive to a class? Find a music video with dance moves that are easy to follow, and work every day to learn it until you can do the entire routine by yourself. We love Beyoncé's Love on Top for its simple routine and catchy rhythms. Other options to consider: belly dance, flamenco classes and ballet (barre exercises) for adults. The clean slate the New Year offers inspires us to make resolutions we hope will improve our lives. Keeping our Latinism in mind, though, may actually help us sustain our goals and see them through.
