Enrique Iglesias on His Favorite Scents
Spanish recording artist Enrique Iglesias is the new face of Azzaro Pour Homme, and Shine Latina chatted
with him to find out more about the scents that inspire him.

Enrique Iglesias is known around the world for his hot, dance music and sex appeal, and most recently added model to his resume as the new face of Azzaro Pour Homme. It seems the singer's pairing with the masculine fragrance is a perfect match; the base notes for this cologne are wood, musk, lavender, basil and sandalwood, echoing Iglesias' sexy persona.
We had the chance to chat with the Latino about his relationship with Azzaro, a longtime staple among men's fragrance lines, as well as his own intimate memories associated with favorite smells. Check it out what he had to say below:
What type of men do you think choose Azzaro? Thoughtful, sensitive types? Strong, tough men?
The Azzaro team said that they chose me not only for my physique, but also for my physical strength and performances on stage...they find [them] full of charisma, energy and innate elegance. This is what they told me…

How do you like your women to smell?
Like a woman.
What kind of scent does your pareja like you wearing best?
I wear my fragrance, Azzaro Pour Homme.
What scents remind you of being at home?
Nothing too particular comes to mind. I want to say food being cooked, or perhaps my dogs!
What are your favorite smells?
The smell of my fragrances, of course: Azzaro Pour Homme, APH Elixir and APH L'Eau.
Do you have memories that are tied to specific smells?
Most likely some sort of food. Probably something Spanish from my childhood, but I can't pinpoint it exactly.
Besides wearing your favorite cologne, what is your beauty/fitness routine?
For the beauty part, I'm not sure what to say. I'm just like any guy on this, as you can tell I don't do much! (laughs). I can, however, tell you about the sports I love: I love soccer and all water sports: swimming, surfing… The water itself relaxes me.
