Do opposites really attract? For online daters, it may depend on their city...

Zoosk studied a sample of nearly one million of its members to determine which cities had the singles with the most open minds about dating. Looking at factors like body type, religion, education, previous marriages, and smoking/drinking habits, Zoosk determined the cities where people were most wiling to date someone with differences from themselves. Here are the top 10:

1. Las Vegas
2. Detroit
3. Columbus, Ohio
4. Sacramento, Calif.
5. San Antonio
6. Oklahoma City
7. Indianapolis
8. Jacksonville, Fla.
9. Nashville
10. Memphis

This list is especially interesting especially in light of recent research on FiveThirtyEight of eHarmony users, which essentially concluded that most people do in fact want to date someone very similar to themselves. According to Zoosk, the least open-minded cities are as follows:

2. San Jose, Calif.
3. Birmingham, Ala.
4. Richmond, Va.
5. Pittsburgh
6. Washington, D.C.

8. Atlanta
9. Riverside, Calif.
10. Orlando, Fla.
