Take it from someone who's never had a boyfriend: being single has its benefits. But getting too comfortable being alone can be a deterrent for potential love interests, and there are a few ways to tell you're verging on Foul Bachelorette Frog territory.

1. You put out food for the stray animals in your neighborhood so you can talk to them about your personal problems.

2. When friends ask if you're seeing anyone, you laugh and shove them jokingly. Into a wall. Hard.

3. You haven't cleaned your bedroom in at least a month. (Bathroom probably closer to two.)

4. You feel emotionally fond of the people in your favorite porn clips.

5. When you do land a date, you keep wishing you were at home watching Downtown Abbey instead of asking how many siblings this guy has in an "Oh yes, I totally care" voice.

6. Getting laid isn't as important to you as having a comfortable sleeping environment.

7. You fall asleep cuddling your laptop.

8. You consider watching nine hours of Instant Netflix alone "having plans."

9. You figure prying into your friends' love lives is almost as good as having one.

10. You can't say the word "boyfriend" without using air quotes.

I'll be honest: I might like being single too much to ever not be. Do you guys agree? Or disagree?
