5 Cheap Date Ideas for St. Patrick’s Day
Top o' the morning to you lassies! If hitting the local pub for green beer isn't your idea of a good time for this evening, I've got a few last minute (and budget friendly!) ideas for you and your man.
1. Whip up a few glasses of Irish Coffee and cuddle on the couch while watching Irish specials on TV. The History Channel has a few programs scheduled for tonight with the holiday in mind. I'm hoping they play something from the Cities of the Underground series!
2. Roll up your sleeves and cook a tasty dish inspired by The Emerald Isle. My Grandparents make delicious and very unhealthy potato pancakes (seriously, bacon grease is involved!) for their Ancient Order of Hibernians meetings. The hotcakes are always a hit; they never have leftovers. This recipe is pretty close to theirs.

3. Slip on your comfy walking shoes and head out for an evening stroll. The two of you can look for four leaf clovers, or just pretty flowers.
4. Conversely, you could slip on your dancing shoes and stay in to have a Riverdance dance party. And no need to worry about a playlist; Pandora's got a few St. Patrick's Day themed stations! This idea works especially well if you've got an axe to grind with your neighbors.
5. Conveniently forget to wear green and tell your lucky lad that he can pinch your cheeks-and more in the bedroom. Bonus points if you try speaking in Irish accents. Is there anything hotter than an Irish brogue?
