Maybe we're a little too obsessed with Mad Men but, when we imagine a steamy, salacious affair, we certainly don't picture it all going down in the middle of The Cheesecake Factory.

However, a new poll by the notorious dating website for cheaters, AshleyMadison.com, finds that chain restaurants and steak houses are the prime locales to take your cheating partner/mistress/whatever the male equivalent of mistress is. (BTW: Why isn't there a male equivalent of mistress?)

According to the site's founder, places like P.F. Chang's and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse are not only "larger and less conspicuous," but they are "also commonly found in business districts, close to hotels where these type of dates typically end." Iiiiiinteresting.

The survey also found that most of these chain restaurant rendezvous take place 20 miles from where the cheaters in question live. (Well, we guess they're not driving all that way for the food, right?)

So, if you see a pal's BF out with a total rando at a Chili's, you might want to question whether or not the chick is really his sister...
