Less than two weeks after Sons of Anarchy blond Charlie Hunnam dropped out of 50 Shades of Grey, Variety reports that producers have found their replacement: Jamie Dornan. While we're a little disappointed that our Eastwood-ian dreams have been cruelly extinguished, Jamie seems like he'll do just fine. As we've discussed before, finding a relatively unknown actor with "nothing to lose" seemed like the way to go here.

So let's get to know our new friend Jamie a little bit better:

He dated Keira Knightley. We all (indirectly) have Keira Knightley to thank for this casting, as the actress is the one who introduced Jamie to her agent in 2003 after meeting him on an Asprey photo shoot, kickstarting his career. The two hideously unattractive individuals proceeded to date from 2003 to 2005. After their breakup, he wrote a song about her, which included the lyrics: "I can see your fancy friends trying to steal your innocence . . . you're so weak around them." A sensitive one, this Jamie.

He knows his way around a wind machine
. Jamie's modeled for Calvin Klein, Dior and Armani, often shirtless, always smoldering. Irritatingly modest, he once told the New York Times, "I don't see myself as particularly good looking."

You may recognize him from television
. Jamie appeared on eight episodes of ABC's Once Upon a Time playing a sheriff (his character was killed off), and he plays a serial killer in the Irish series The Fall. While Christian Grey is not a murderer (at least in the literal sense), Jamie's experience playing a creep should no doubt come in handy.

His first acting gig was in Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette. He had a small role as Marie's Swedish lover in the film, which meant he got to kiss Kristen Dunst and roll around in bed with her and otherwise look pretty. The role led to the aforementioned 2006 New York Times profile which was titled "The Golden Torso."

He's married. To Colin Farrell's ex-wife, in fact. Her name is Amelia Warner and she's a singer who performs under the name "Slow Moving Millie" for some reason. She's pregnant with the couple's first child, with the Daily Mail noting she's "in good hands" as Jamie's dad and step-mother are both OB/GYNs. (You didn't realize just how intimately you were going to get know Jamie in this post, did you?)
