What bride-to-be doesn't need a boost of joy (maybe even right this moment!)? Sure, you have plenty to be grateful for-and let us count the ways: A wonderful fiancé, a wedding to look forward to, perhaps a relaxing bridal shower in the works, and a lovely life ahead-but, the stress of planning can get overwhelming. We know.

So, check out this interesting advice from researchers about how to reclaim some happiness and blast stress, while having a lot of fun. And what they found was fascinating.

The researchers looked at a population of 112 females suffering from complaints including anxiety, depression and chronic neck and back pain. They enrolled half of them in weekly dance lessons, and here's the kicker: The dancing group reported dramatic improvements in their ailments, and even more exciting, these positive changes continued for up to eight months after the dance classes ended.

Don't be shy! Here are our favorite ideas for getting your dance on:

Plan a girl's night out: Call up the bridesmaids and meet up at a local hot spot for some good old-fashioned hip-shaking on the dance floor (after all, girls just want to have fun!). Think of it as a practice round for your bachelorette party.

Try ballet: One of the fastest-growing fitness segments right now! Consider signing up for a beginner ballet class in your area. You might be surprised at how fun it is, and how calming and yoga-like the moves are (especially with classical piano playing in the speakers). Bonus: You'll leave feeling a million times more graceful. More spring in your step means a smoother first dance or father-daughter dance, too.

Grab your guy, and go salsa: Yes, it's not always the easiest type of dance to pick up, but if you are up for some muy caliente adventure with your fiancé, we think there's nothing more fun than a little Latin dancing-especially with the man you love.
