Jessica Simpson Had Mismatched Bridesmaid Dresses at Her Wedding!

Jessica Simpson went with the mismatched trend for her 12 bridesmaid and two maid of honor dresses for her July 5 wedding, and we're pretty obsessed with the outcome!

"I didn't really have a theme per se, but I did know I wanted it to look ethereal… I personally can't have all of my girls in the same dress," Jessica told People. So her bridal party's look was "a little bit angelic, but of course with rhinestones!"

One of her bridesmaids, Nicole Chavez, is also her stylist, so that came in handy for pulling 14 different couture gowns from Marchesa, Jason Wu, Temperley, Carmen Marc Valvo and Carolina Herrera, who made Jessica's wedding dress and her daughter Maxwell's flower girl dress. (We're also loving sister Ashlee Simpson's boho side braid and ethereal blue dress - very Elsa in Frozen.)

And even though Jessica and her husband, Eric Johnson, skipped their first dance and cutting the cake, their 200-plus guests enjoyed every minute of their reception (planned by Mindy Weiss), including a seven-person Motown band; a four-course meal of crab cakes, short ribs and sea bass; a glamorous Great Expectations theme; and an after-party (which Jess changed into a sparkly blue Zuhair Murad mini-dress for) with sliders, grilled cheese and fries.
