Amber Heard's two engagement rings had Save the Date readers scratching our heads. Following her engagement to Johnny Depp, she's been spotted with a not-too-huge diamond on a single-shank band and a baseball-size diamond in a split-shank setting.

So Johnny Depp went ahead and cleared up that little mystery for us: The engagement ring he proposed with was "too big for her, so he started wearing it," a source tells Us Weekly. And the proof is in the picture--of Johnny in Beijing today.

The AP is reporting that when Johnny was pressed on whether he and Ameber were engaged, he replied: "The fact that I'm wearing a chick's ring on my finger is probably a dead giveaway. Not very subtle." So there you have it.

Of course one might ask my Johnny didn't just have the original ring sized down, but I guess when you're a quadrillionaire, diamond rings are like ring pops.
