Lauren Conrad’s Best Date Ever is Kind of Surprising

Extreme date nights can definitely spice up you and your partner's love life, but we're a little surprised at what bride-to-be Lauren Conrad said was her "best date ever."

The SoCal style icon shared on her blog that her second date with fiance William Tell wasn't at a fancy restaurant and didn't even include multiple glasses of wine - just a deck of cards.

"The truth is that my best date ever wasn't super adventurous or creative," she wrote."It was my second date with my fiancé William. On our first date, I was so nervous that I couldn't really enjoy myself! But when he asked me on date No. 2, I was feeling a little more relaxed. William wanted to go to a bar to grab a drink together, but I had lost my I.D. and just sent my passport away for my trip to Africa for The Little Market (I know, smooth move…). So, since we couldn't go to an actual bar, we went to a hotel lobby bar and played cards all night. We literally closed the place down, just playing cards, talking and laughing. And nevermind the fact that I lost… I actually kind of liked that William didn't just let me win!"

She continued:

"I knew he was a keeper after that night. While it's fun to spice things up with new activities and adventures, I think that a sign of a strong relationship is when you can have fun doing even the simplest activities together. That's still true of William and I to this day."

Do you agree with Lauren? What's the simplest yet most fun date you and your partner have gone on together?
