In London? You’ve Got to See the Victoria and Albert Museum’s New Wedding Dress Exhibition

There are two big reasons we wish we could be in London right now. One, because Prince Harry is newly single, and two, because the Victoria and Albert Museum's new bridal exhibition looks like it'll be truly incredible to see.

Titled "Wedding Dresses 1775-2014," the museum is telling the story of wedding dresses throughout the ages and is putting some pretty high-profile gowns on display.

Book your plane tickets between May 3 and March 15, 2015, because Kate Moss's exquisite John Galliano wedding dress, Gwen Stefani's pink John Galliano for Dior gown and Dita Von Teese's iconic purple Vivienne Westwood number are only some of the famous wedding dresses being shown.

The exhibit will also feature creations from Vera Wang, Jenny Packham, Temperley, Jean Muir and Ian Stuart. Also, remember the short layered Lanvin dress that Sarah Jessica Parker modeled in the Sex and the City movie's Vogue shoot? That's there too!

"I set out to tell the story of the white wedding dress from the late 18th century onward, as there is very little written evidence of it before then," Edwina Ehrman, lead curator of "Wedding Dresses," told WWD. "And while the focus is on white, there has constantly been a dialogue with color - over a long period."
