Morgan Freeman Sex Scandal? Hasty reporting.

The National Enquirer reported that Morgan Freeman and his wife were filing divorce papers just about a year ago.

They then reported that Morgan Freeman and his wife were getting divorced because he was having an affair with his step-granddaughter.

They are now reporting that Morgan Freeman is going to marry his step-granddaughter, a la Woody Allen.

Now, the Enquirer was the first to break news of the John Edwards affair, so I understand why some of the major blogs are picking up this story and citing it as fact. However, it is the National Enquirer. Lest you forget, some of their past headlines include: Town in panic over 2,000 UFO sightings' and `I'm a Cher wannabe in a man's body.'

All the sources cited in this disturbing Morgan Freeman story are "family friends." Nothing has been confirmed by a publicist, so basically this is all rumor and conjecture. So before you go posting the story on your blog as FACT, remember the source of the story.
