The Most Popular Day to Get Married This Year Is…

This Saturday 10-12-13 is the most popular day of the year to marry. In fact, there are 24,100 couples on TheKnot.com with that wedding date. That's 200 more weddings than there were on the next most popular date of the year (which was June 1).
Are fall weddings more popular than summer weddings? Not exactly. This year the most popular month to marry was June. It also depends on where you're getting married. (High wedding season in Florida is more like November and December.) Generally speaking though, the most popular months to marry are June followed by September and October.
What's the real lesson here? If you want your wedding to really look different than everyone else's, get married in January!
