A: Understanding your husband's fantasies (even if you don't intend to satisfy them) is part of building a fulfilling sex life. So discuss what appeals to him about making love outside. You may find that it has more to do with a craving for spontaneity than exhibitionism. That might make it easier to indulge him without sacrificing your comfort, say, by being intimate in the car in a secluded spot after dark.
Of course, a couple's sexual conflicts can also reflect issues outside the bedroom. It's possible, for instance, that your husband wishes you were less inhibited in life. The two of you don't have to be perfectly in sync, but you do need to appreciate your differences and try to meet halfway. If, despite your efforts to compromise, he won't let the matter rest, consider counseling to explore this further.
