It's Official! Hayden Panettiere Confirms Her Engagement to Wladimir Klitschko in a Slightly Terrifying Way

She's finally wearing a ring on it! Six months after we speculated that Nashville star Hayden Panettiere was engaged to pro boxer Wladimir Klitschko, she finally confirmed our suspicions and wore her engagement ring on LIVE with Kelly and Michael this morning!

Panettiere made a Britney Spears-style entrance on the show, entering the stage with an giant boa constrictor around her neck.

"I'm sort of distracted, not just by the snake, but there's a very large diamond ring on your finger," Kelly Ripa pointed out almost immediately. "I'm not sure if you want to announce anything...does that signify anything, is that a promise of something?"

Panettiere at first said that only it "might" mean something. "I mean, I think it speaks for itself," she said of the ring, but when Ripa flat-out asked Panettiere if she was engaged to her boyfriend of nearly four years, she finally admitted, "I am!"

The actress and her Ukrainian pro boxer beau dated for two years before breaking up in 2011, but were spotted looking as in love as ever earlier this January at basketball games and intimate meals. "Very few people know, and she isn't wearing her ring publicly yet," said a friend of the duo in April when engagement rumors began to circulate.

Now that the rumors are true, we can't wait to see her step out with her ring and her fiancé! Though she told Ripa that they haven't picked a wedding date, we'd love to see the petite star play up her natural assets by getting married in an trendy short wedding dress like some of the ones we saw from the Spring 2014 bridal fashion shows. Many congratulations to the happy couple!
