It's been two and a half years since Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot in the royal wedding seen 'round the world. We still find ourselves staring longingly at photos of Kate's custom Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding dress and tearing up when we watch footage of their kiss on the Buckingham Palace balcony. Now it's looking like we may have another blowout royal wedding to look forward to-and this one may be even more fun considering the bride and groom-to-be.

Prince Harry and his girlfriend, British socialite Cressida Bonas, have been spotted out together three times this week, which has British newspapers buzzing about an impending engagement!

Prince Harry, 29, was first linked to 24-year-old Bonas in mid-2012 by his cousin Princess Eugenie, who was good friends with Bonas from their days at Leeds University. The pair began dating, but took a break for his military training and deployment later that year (good news in light of his...spirited...partying in Las Vegas last August). Since February, the couple has been very much on again, going everywhere together, from skiing in Switzerland to the upper-crust Boodles Boxing Ball.

It's not a huge stretch to imagine her as a future royal; her pedigree is more impressive than that of Kate Middleton. Bonas' mother, Lady Mary-Gaye Georgiana Lorna Curzon, was a 1960s It-girl and heir to the Curzon banking fortune. Her father, Jeffrey Bonas, was chairman of MacCulloch & Wallis, a clothing and fabric manufacturer. Prince Harry isn't her first princely connection, either-Prince William once courted her half-sister.

So why are we so excited for them to get engaged?

1. They both love fun: Not to sound like a broken record, but Prince Harry's naked partying pictures in Las Vegas last year were only the latest in his well-documented wild ways. For her part, Bonas has been spotted at England's Glastonbury music festival and dancing the night away with friends. Since Prince Harry is fourth in line to the throne, the pressure is off for a straight-laced and traditional affair. This sounds like a recipe for an all-night party wedding.

2. She has a unique sense of style: Bonas is known to wear a velvet scrunchie in her hair, sport sneaker wedges during the day and at night, and has a blue sequin blazer that she's worn to weddings and red carpet events. Clearly, her wedding would be infused with this playful, bohemian style (Jenny Packham and Vivienne Westwood come to mind).

3. She has already been anointed: In October 2013, Bonas landed her very own cover of Tatler, a British fashion magazine which has an annual compilation of the 100 "most eligible" below-thirty-somethings in London (Pippa Middleton was once named the number-one singleton). Bonas' cover introduced her as the royal's one and only with a headline that read "Harry Loves Cressy."
