Even royalty is gung-ho for gay marriage in New York! When the handsome newlywed, Prince William, discovered that a high-powered New York gay couple is exchanging vows and rings in September, he couldn't help but to congratulate them and share wedding tips!

According to Carrie Seim at the New York Post, when Bill White and Bryan Eure, who have waited eight years for New York to legalize gay marriage, told the prince about their upcoming wedding at an event in Los Angeles, his response had them jumping for joy. Will told the couple, "Oh, that's terrific. Congratulations!"

And when the native New Yorkers asked William for tips on their wedding, he offered these wise words: "If you just make sure one person is the final decision-maker, and you're OK with that, you'll be all right."

Wise words, Will, Wise words.

Since he was the groom in the biggest (so far) wedding spectacle of 2011, Prince William knows all about exchanging perfect nuptials. White and Eure aren't a royal couple, but their anticipated wedding will be fabulously non-traditional and fit for two kings ...There's a small church ceremony at St. Bartholomew's, followed by a wedding-eve reception at Georgette Mosbacher's Fifth Avenue home. If that wasn't glamorous enough, the couple is hosting 600 guests at the Four Seasons for another celebration.

This will be the first same-sex wedding in the history of the Four Seasons, so the chain is going all out. Four Seasons co-owner, Julian Niccolini, is dropping hints that could make this wedding one of the most extravagant in 2011. There might be a floating wedding cake and a performance from the world-renowned New York Pops orchestra, among other glam details.

What do two grooms wear to such a wedding? Hugo Boss tuxes of course! Oh, and their elite guests (including former Presidents George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton; not to mention Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, former New York governors Andrew Cuomo and David Paterson, Barbara Walters, and Anderson Cooper) have all been requested to wear black tie, natch.

Can Bill White and Bryan Eure's same-sex union do the impossible and top the Royal Wedding? We will have to wait until September to find out!
