Red Sox Fans Got Married at Fenway Park (After Meeting on Twitter!)

Plenty of Boston Red Sox fans have gotten married at Fenway Park - but how many can say they met on Twitter because of a Sox-related tweet?

In 2011, the Sox tweeted a birthday message to fan Shannon Armitage, and another fan, Cody Anderson, took notice. He tweeted at Shannon and said, "@Esenay24 might be the most beautiful and positive #RedSox fan out there! Tweets always seem refreshing!"

We're glad that Cody tweeted such a cute message, because the two began a relationship shortly after and they decided to get married at Fenway Park, since the team was responsible for their meeting and Shannon's late father was a huge Red Sox fan.

Shannon and Cody's wedding was on Friday before the team's season opener and they live-tweeted their whole day with pictures - and both wore jerseys!
