Stars! They are just like us. In the same way that we all went to prom with each other, celebrities took one another to their big school dances. For example: did you know that Scarlett Johansson attended the Professional Children's School prom with none other than fun. band member Jack Antonoff, who is now dating Girls creator/star Lena Dunham?

Well, O.K., I guess the news that Antonoff and Johansson used to date has been out for some time now, but I believe these prom photos are new. Oh, yes! Page Six has photos of the handsome young couple in the limo on their way to the prom and doing a bit of "pre-gaming" in someone's apartment. They appear to be drinking some kind of sparkling something, which I suppose could be cider, but come on, these are cool Manhattan teens. It's probably champagne.

This was all the way back in 2002, when Johannson was 17 and Antonoff was 18. She looks glamorous in white, he looks retro in a wide-collared ruffle shirt and burnt-sienna jacket. They're cute pictures! And a funny reminder that lots of people who are famous had very particular childhoods. I mean, Johansson had already been in movies and stuff at the point, so she was already famous. But Antonoff was just a New Jersey teen going to school in the big bad city. He was in a band later that year, but at the moment he was just a boy at prom with his girlfriend. His girlfriend the movie actress. In Manhattan. At the Professional Children's School.

Slightly different from your own prom, I would imagine? I mean, who knows? Maybe you went to the Fame school and Debbie Allen taught you how to do the Electric Slide. But most of us were stuck in V.F.W. halls or banquet and convention centers with a buncha nobodies. So I hope you enjoyed it, Jack and Scarlett. And all the rest of you professional children, too.
