The couple, who met while working on the former ABC series Pan Am, exchanged vows in an intimate wedding ceremony in front of friends and family.

Ricci, who found fame starring in '90s movies like The Addams Family and Casper, made a fashion wedding day fashion statement that veered far from her spooky movie roles in a long-sleeved, white silk tulle Givenchy haute couture wedding dress. The gown also featured satin piping with delicate micro pearls and Chantilly lace appliqué, while her matching white tulle veil had those same romantic Chantilly lace appliqués.

The ceremony space is a nearly century-old mansion in Manhattan's Upper East Side that also serves as the headquarters of the Council on Foreign Relations. It's no stranger to high-profile weddings: 20/20 anchor Elizabeth Vargas married husband Marc Cohn in the gorgeous space in 2002. Despite its high pedigree, it's a decidedly un-Hollywood venue. We love how the historic house offers a down-to-earth, warm vibe with its wood-paneled walls.

Ricci gave us a lovestruck double-header back in February, when she confirmed her relationship with Heerdegen and announced that they had gotten engaged "a couple months back." That news wasn't altogether shocking; she first stepped out wearing a diamond engagement ring in October 2012.

In July, she told PEOPLE that, "Getting to say 'fiancé' instead of 'boyfriend' is my favorite thing. I can't wait for 'husband.'"

It's no wonder she was looking forward to her wedding, it sounded so personal and fun! Take the the couple's non-traditional reception: The twosome reportedly skipped the first dance and offered a candy table for guests to keep their dancing energy high throughout the night.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
