Are You Single? Prepare for a New Year with Old Friends

As the Holiday seasons approach and a new year is on the horizon, being single or newly single can be a bit daunting. This is a time for celebration with your loved ones, and it can be tough if there's one less loved one on this year's tally. Although you no longer have a partner, you still have your friends. A good distraction from any negative feelings manifested from a broken relationship is hanging out with these friends.

With life as hectic as ever during the holiday seasons, try to make it a point to personally host a night with all your closest friends. Here are a few of our favorite holiday concoctions:
Peppermint Patty
1 oz. Peppermint Schnapps
½ oz. Dark Crème De Cacao
1 tsp Crème de Menthe
8 oz. Hot Cocoa
Whipped Cream
Chocolate Shavings
Instructions: Stir together the liqueurs and add the hot chocolate. Top with whipped cream.
Candy Cane Swirl
1 oz. Raspberry Flavored Vodka
3 oz. Red Cranberry Jice
.05 oz. Grenadine
.05 oz. Peppermint Schnapps
Lemon Lime Soda
Instructions: Rim martini glass with crushed candy cane. Combine Vodka, Peppermint Schnapps, Cranberry Juice and Grenadine into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into martini glass. Top with Lemon Lime Soda and garnish with a small peppermint candy cane.
Frosty Noggin
1 ½ oz. Rum
¾ oz. Crème de Cacao
3 oz. Eggnog
3 cup Vanilla Ice Crem
Instructions: Blend ingredients in blender until smooth, pour into parfait glass, top with whipped cream and a few drops of crème de menthe.
