What would you do if you found out your fiancée was cheating?

When you find out that your significant other is cheating, your emotions can run wild. You hate them--you can't believe they did this! Then you displace your anger on the other party involved who cheated with your partner.

Diane von Furstenberg's son Alexander discovered his fiancee, Ali Kay, was cheating with basketball player Reggie Miller. Kay and Miller met back in March, and while it hasn't been confirmed that there was any type of physical affair, there is evidence that they texted up to 50 times a day and Kay sent him provocative photos from her cellphone.

Somehow Alex von Furstenberg found out about their flirtations and called up Reggie Miller. Miller claims Alex then started harassing his friends and hired a private investigator to tail him, so Miller hired a lawyer to file a restraining order. Alex, annoyed that Reggie continued to pursue his fiancee, hired his own lawyer to ready a counter restraining order. No legal documents were formally filed. Supposedly the two men and their lawyers came to some type of agreement and moved on... but von Furstenberg clearly was still angry. Last weekend Alex hired a small plane to fly along the entire southern California coastline pulling a sign that said, "REGGIE MILLER STOP PURSUING MARRIED WOMEN."

Sure, this must have been quite embarrassing for Miller, but in the end it makes von Furstenberg look worse. (Also important to note: he and Kay aren't married yet!) Perhaps instead of attacking Miller for carrying on with his fiancée, von Furstenberg should be talking to her about why she was flirting and sending those photos. Maybe he and Kay can work things out, or maybe their relationship is over and he needs to move on. Either way, publicly humilating the other man--no matter how tempting--is not the best solution.
