If You're Faking it in Bed, You're More Likely to Do This Other Unpleasant Thing Too

Fake it till you make it? Not so much...

In a study of male and female college students, scientists looked at couples' orgasm frequency to see if it affected their relationships. Interestingly, women who had more orgasms were no more or less faithful than women whose climaxes were more sporadic.

But women who faked more orgasms were more likely to have cheated previously, and they were more likely to do it again.

Researchers didn't say why, but it makes sense that if a woman isn't satisfied (physically, emotionally, or I'm guessing, a combo of both), she might continue looking elsewhere to meet her needs. Clearly, this doesn't mean that if you've ever faked an orgasm, you're on a path to cheat. But if you're finding yourself doing it often, you might want to take a look at your relationship satisfaction.
