New tools to navigate the holiday shopping season

Check out the latest electronic tools from Walmart to make the most of this holiday shopping season.

The worlds largest retailer, Walmart has new digital and mobile tools that can help all of us plan our shopping strategy right from home. Starting with Facebook, you can use the social network as a gateway to get access to Walmart's exclusive offers. Go to Facebook.com/Walmart and click on the "like" button, and you'll start receiving custom information and deals exclusive to the Facebook community. You can also access your local Walmart circular right there on the Facebook page (or Walmart.com) and when you do, you get timely information on great low prices right at your fingertips. You can page through all the deals and run your mouse over specific products to get even more valuable information.

And while your reading the online circular, getting a digital store map is a click away. We all know finding the exact location of specific gift can be a challenge, that's why this is super helpful because you can find out exactly where the item you want is located so you don't waste time searching and losing out on a hot selling item.

This year you can even stay on top of all the latest and greatest gift ideas and prices when you're away from your computer with special Walmart text alerts and tweets. It's easy to sign up, you simply text "save" to 63257 for Holiday values, and Walmart will customize gift ideas for everyone on your list. For Twitter fans, all you have to do is follow @walmartspecials and the savings ideas come to you.

Got an iPhone? You should download Walmart's "My Holiday" app that offers a genius gift finder. You choose gender, then age, then how much you want to spend on a specific person on your list and you get valuable gift ideas that will save you time and money.

The days of stressing out over the biggest shopping day of the year are over. With all of these tools at your fingertips you can relax and start thinking about what you're going to do with the money you'll save.

Happy shopping, see you next time!
