Forget those cross-country trips smushed into the back of a station wagon -- you know, the ones that were your parents' idea of a great vacation; these days, kids are welcome everywhere from African safaris to chartered sailboats. So pack a bag for your little wanderers (and for yourself) and set out to see the world, family style.
