7 Tips for Getting Pregnant when You Have PCOS

It's estimated that more than 5 million women of childbearing age in the US are affected by polycystic ovary syndrome, or PCOS. PCOS is a hormonal disorder linked to excess testosterone production, insulin resistance, irregular ovulation, and cysts (fluid-filled sacs) within the ovaries, and fertility problems--mainly because it's difficult to predict ovulation. Approximately half of all women with PCOS are obese or overweight.
