8 New Year’s Resolutions All Parents Should Make in 2014

A new year, a new start, a new crop of resolutions. I'm sure you've done this dance for as many Januaries as you can remember, and the steps and motions might feel predictable at this point. Maybe you decided to sit this year out, considering resolutions are made to be broken come February. Or maybe you're just going about your resolutions in the wrong way. Try framing your resolutions in the context of parenting - considering how the changes you make in your life (your health, attitude, and philosophies) directly affect your kids. There might be more urgency and motivation to make positive changes when there's another reason to follow through: your children.
