Best and Worst Celebrity Baby Names of the Year

What could possibly be more fun than ruthlessly judging the outfits of the rich and famous? Ruthlessly judging their baby name decisions, of course! As with their red carpet choices, some stars stuck to more mainstream territory this past year (Henry, Ava), others ventured into offbeat pastures (MirabellaBunny, DieselDean), and a fearless minority leapt into the land of the truly unusual (Cree, Kez).

To learn how the stars' name choices in 2011 fared among moms across the country, BabyCenter, the leading online pregnancy and parenting resource, asked more than 1,500 parents to cast their vote for most and least favorite name.

"Interestingly, the names that won the popularity contest overlap quite a lot with the top names of the year," says Linda Murray, BabyCenter's editor-in-chief. "Celebrities are usually admired for standing out from the crowd, but not so with baby names. Parents seem to like it when the stars reflect their own taste."
