Cool kite: Let your kid fly a "Star Wars" Millennium Falcon

Did you know you're in the middle of National Kite Month? (It started on March 28 and lasts through May 3.) And if your weather permits, you can enjoy gorgeous spring weather by taking your kids out to fly a kite.

As part of National Kite Month, more than 150 events are taking place all over the country to teach kids about the joy of flying a kite. (Our town hosts Kite Day at the end of April and they charge five bucks for lunch and a kite--a sweet deal!)

Now, if you take your kite flying seriously and your kid is a "Star Wars" fan, behold the "Star Wars" line of kites. While the Darth Vader's TIE fighter and the X-wing are available, I prefer the big, bad Millennium Falcon. But let's face it: either kite will make for some serious outdoor fun.

You can find the Millennium Falcon kite at Toys R' Us for US$30 and apparently some Target stores carry it as well.
