For the love of pete, how much more can I dig crafty goodness. Even if I don't have the immediate time to help my kids get crafty, the ideas stick with me for those rainy day/random-school-holidays moments. And I especially love projects that allow you to repurpose materials you have in your home. Like a newspaper hut.

This time, it's cereal boxes. Cut them up into postcards and let your kid send some mail to friends and family. Instructions courtesy of Plum Pudding.

Or if your kids are like mine and dig drawing and writing stories, you can turn cereal boxes into adorable covers for mini-notebooks. Get the deets from Art Projects for Kids.
