Dealing with Gender Disappointment..

So it's official--Snooki is having a baby boy.

She announced the news on this week's cover of In Touch magazine, but inside the mom-to-be confessed she was a little disappointed to be having a boy. She said:

"I thought it was going to be a girl. I was hoping it would be, because all girls want girls," she says."It's still my baby, no matter what. I'm excited either way!"

Just wondering if anyone else had gender disappointment? I have a daughter and I couldn't be happier. But if I'm honest, I prayed I was having a girl. And now that I'm a single mom, I'm actually thankful that I have girl.

Of course, if I had had a son, I would love him just the same, but is it true that women want daughters and men want sons? How do you deal with the disappointment?
