Talk about some serious ambition! On July 12, 8-year-old Dylan Spoering of Minneapolis pitched a handwritten sign in his yard advertising a free concert. It read "Free concert by Dylan Spoering, 2:30-3:20 pm." The boy's neighbor and a local musician, Tommy Rehbein posted a photo of the sign on Facebook that went completely viral on the web. Despite the rain, 400 bystanders gathered to listen Dylan play the piano. Some 40,000 people also watched a live stream online. Photo by Getty Images

Before the show began promptly at 2:30, Dylan said, "This is gonna be my big day. I'm not nervous ." His performance reflected his words, as he played upbeat tunes like "Skip to My Lou" and "Rhino In The Mud." Halfway through, the youngster announced an intermission and proceeded to pass out cookies and answer questions.

Though the young maestro has held concerts before, they've never had an attendance like this one. He told NBC, "Wow! People even came on a rainy day. I must be famous." His day wasn't the only one made. Once the recital ended, the crowd broke into a chant for an encore, shouting, "One more song, one more song!"

Don't fret if you didn't catch the show! Dylan's already planning his next one for August 2.
