Kate Middleton and Prince William Are Being Criticized for Taking a Baby-Free Vacation

Being a new parent is an all-around challenging job, from getting hardly any sleep to juggling what feels like a million new concerns all at once. So the big question is - when do you up the ante from leaving baby at home for a night out to leaving baby at home for a vacation?

Prince William and Kate Middleton are currently in the Maldives in the Indian Ocean for a weeklong vacation - and didn't take seven-month-old Prince George with them, who's reportedly being cared for by his new nanny and his grandparents while his parents are away.

The royal couple has come under fire from some social media users for being away from Prince George for so long, at such a young age. On one hand, we can see some couples not wanting to leave baby with a caregiver or grandparent until a certain age, but on the other hand, some couples enjoy recharging and reconnecting with each other despite having a baby at home. And some couples wait to take a vacation until baby can come with them.
