Los Angeles Kids Weekend Events: Apr 20-22

It's Earth Day this Sunday, and there are plenty of planet friendly family celebrations all over town, from the Zoo to the Natural History Museum to the STAR Eco Station. Also this weekend are two annual can't miss events: the L.A. Times Festival of Books and the Cowboy Festival. The only problem this weekend is figuring out which things to do!

Los Angeles

Minimalist Jukebox

Outward Bound at NHM
When you live in this sprawling concrete jungle, it's easy to forget Los Angeles has beautiful accessible green spaces, and Earth Day is a perfect time to (re)discover them and reconnect with the outdoors! Sun., 9:30 am - 3:30 pm. Exposition Park. $5-$12. All ages. Event details.

L.A. Zoo Earth Day Weekend
The Los Angeles Zoo is hosting two days of festivities where the theme is celebrating the special California wildlife all around us-maybe even in your own backyard…Sat. & Sun., 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Griffith Park. $11-$16. All ages. Event details.

Children's Earth Day at STAR Eco Station

Cowboy Festival
